I.S. 278 aces ‘Project Citizen Showcase’
After three months of hard work, Law Academy students from Marine Park Intermediate School 278 were named State Champions in the “Project Citizen Showcase.”
Ten Class 7−3 representatives from the school, 1925 Stuart Street — along with teacher Kate O’Hagan, supervisor of the civics program training, in coordination with the Justice Resource Center — traveled to Pace University to compete in Project Citizen, which promotes active citizenship and participation in government.
