BROAD CHANNEL — A Broad Chanel woman was charged with ruining 25 of her boyfriend’s shirts by staining them with bleach after an argument over the telephone, a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

The boyfriend of Fatima Reynolds, 30, of 320 Beach 100th St. in Broad Chanel, returned to the home where they lived together between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 30 to find 25 of his shirts destroyed by bleach, according to the criminal complaint.

Reynolds admitted to pouring bleach on the shirts, the complaint said.

A spokeswoman for Queens DA Richard Brown said the incident followed an argument over the phone.

Reynolds was arraigned Jan. 13 before Queens Criminal Court Judge Toko Serita, who released Reynolds on her own recognizance, the spokeswoman said.
